Abstract: This volume deals in a practical manner with the process of publishing scientific articles, starting from the preparation of the manuscript and bibliography to submission to the publisher. Issues of ethics, copyright, and how to publish on pre-print repositories are briefly described.

Author Biography

Giuseppe Miccolis, Università della Basilicata

Giuseppe Miccolis is a Library Officer at the University of Basilicata, where he takes care of the administrative management of the University Central Library. Since 1998 he has been in charge of adherence to publishing contracts, first in the CIBER CASPUR consortium and later in the CARE group of CRUI. He is also a contact person for the University of Basilicata in the National Library System and in the SHARE (Scholarly Heritage and Access to Research) group.
